Create Scratch Letters

Create Scratch Letter - for Show Horses or Racetrack

These can be used for veterinary scratch letters required for racetrack, or show horses. We have two separate formats that work for each, allowing the proper racing office or show stewards to have a quick and easy vet scratch letter.

From the Mobile App:

Step 1 - Go to Patients > tap on Scratch Letter from the right hand menu. Choose Race Track or Show Horse from the pop-up window.

You can either select a scratch letter from the list (if you have previously created any for this horse), or tap the + sign or "add scratch letter" logo to start a new one.

Step 2 -  Fill out the form with information, preview, then tap "Sign and Save". You can draw in a signature here, then Share to send it via e-mail to the appropriate person.

From the Web Admin:

Go to Menu > Patients > select a patient by clicking on the horse’s name, then on the left hand side click Scratch Letter > + Create Scratch Letter {Choose "Race Track" or "Show Horse" for layout options}. Click on grey editable text areas within the document (Horse Name, Trainer name, race name, track name, reason), click Export PDF to save document.

Manage/View Reports and Scratch Letters: To view all of your scratch letters, manage, export, etc go to Manage Account > Reports > Scratch Letter. Click on a specific scratch letter will pull up the pdf in a new window to view, print, download etc.  You can run a report on the range of dates you choose, and export to Excel or PDF.

Use the drop down box to choose "Show Horse" or "Race Track" for the Scratch Letter Layout Needed:
